Evan Christensen

Evan Christensen, RN, MBA, brings with him a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry, spanning over 30 years. With a background as a Registered Nurse in emergency, critical care and orthopedics, as well as extensive experience as a Nurse House Supervisor, Director of Nursing, and Quality Risk Manager, Evan has developed a comprehensive understanding of healthcare operations.

In 2016, Evan assumed the role of CEO/Executive Director at Wayne Community Health Center, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership. During his tenure, the health center experienced significant growth in clinic sites, services, and staff.

Evan recognized the importance of an informed and educated board of directors, fostering their support in facilitating successful growth. Additionally, he executed a strategic and effective succession plan, ensuring a smooth transition upon his departure.

With firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by rural and frontier healthcare organizations, Evan has consistently navigated and overcome these obstacles throughout his career.His expertise uniquely positions him to provide valuable consulting services to rural and frontier located FQHCs. One notable aspect of Evan's consulting services is his meticulous approach to succession planning.

 

He has developed a comprehensive plan that outlines a detailed on-boarding process for new CEOs or Executive Directors.

EC Health Center Consulting is a privately owned --- EC HEALTH CENTER CONSULTING and is positioned to deliver and fulfill the health center’s needs to assist CHC Governing Boards in the development of succession planning and the transition and On-Boarding phase of replacing their CEO within the health center.

 

ECHCC will provide Leadership Training to Organizations to develop a plan so that all leaders within the organization are functioning with the same techniques and goals in mind. Leadership training will also be offered for individuals for new supervisors, managers, and directors.
